  • Cozy Texas Wedding

Mollie and Chase knew it was love at first sight. They tied the knot on a cold, snowy December day in Texas where they kept their guests warm next to a cozy fire, and Teresa’s best friends doubled as both her bridesmaids and her “something blue!”

What dress(es) and color(s) did your bridesmaids wear? What helped you come to a decision on your choice of dresses?

“We chose the Inesse and Aidan dresses in the dusty blue color. I thought both were very versatile for all my bridesmaids and have a soft and romantic feel!”

Tell us a little about your day (including the most memorable moment)!

“We woke up to snow on the morning of our wedding! So that was pretty surreal. It melted and the day turned out to be beautiful. The most memorable moment was standing with my dad before walking down the aisle. I could see Chase standing up there, but he couldn’t see me, yet. My dad calmed me down while trying to compose myself and it was a great moment.”

What advice would you give to other brides and bridesmaids?

“Have fun and enjoy the day! There’s not a lot of times in life where you have all the important ladies in your life together all at once.”

How would you describe your experience using Vow To Be Chic?

“Great experience! A few of my bridesmaids had fit issues with their dresses and you guys sent them new dresses immediately that ended up working out great. The customer service team was super friendly and accommodating!”

We were so excited to be a part of Mollie and Chase’s happily ever after!

  • How To: Mix and Match!

We’ve seen the Mix and Match trend balloon over the past couple years, but now brides are taking it to the next level. Beyond mixing styles, we are now seeing a mix of designers, colors and fabrics.

Bridesmaids wearing: Linden, Emma, Amelia, Nyla, Innesse, Madeline, Patti

Vow bride Julia gave us the full download on how she achieved her dreamy palette of purples and greys.

“I worked closely with my Vow consult stylist and she was SO incredibly patient, sent me 1000000 photos of dresses from the office in every color combination I could request. For a moment, I envisioned using purple, dusty blue AND gray but that was TOO much. The key for me was to stick to one color tone.”

Bridesmaids wearing the Tiffany, Rachel, Courtney, Stephanie, Rebecca.

“The price point gave me the ability to pay for all of the dresses myself so that the most important women in my life could focus on having fun instead of worrying about how much it would cost and spending time getting it tailored. And they also don’t have to stare at a dress in their closet that they’ll never wear again.”

“I loved the flexibility of Vow To Be Chic and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone I know.”

Um, thanks Julia! Vow brides, we have to hand it to you, you’re amazing!

Bridesmaids wearing: Madeline, Rebecca, Gwen, Elissa, Valerie, Cara, Micah, Aidan

Bridesmaids wearing: JordanMadeline, Amelia, Rachel, Tulip, Patti, Emma, Betsy

So to really pull off this look, we recommend two things:

    1. Get creative with your own Vow stylist to create your dream look.
    2.  Order some fabric swatches to see how the colors look together irl.

  • A Multicultural Wedding

Alexis and Akhil weren’t satisfied with just one wedding day– so they had three! The couple embraced their Mexican, Chinese, and Indian heritage, by incorporating each culture over a span of three days. Read below for highlights:

What dress(es) and color(s) did your bridesmaids wear? What helped you come to a decision on your choice of dresses?

“Theia- Gemma dress in gold. I looked through Pinterest and I knew that I wanted my girls to look and feel FABULOUS. It was important to me that they stood out also and wore a dress that was the epitome of chic and glam.”

(P.S. We are crushing on these henna tattoos!)

Tell us a little about your day (including the most memorable moment)!

“Our wedding was unique, in that it incorporated our three cultures: Mexican, Chinese, and Indian. Our wedding took place over three days so we could be sure to incorporate all of our cultures. The day of the actual wedding, we had a church ceremony and a Hindu ceremony followed by a reception. It was so great to have a blend of our cultures to see both of our families coming together and becoming one. The best part of the day was that we were able to get married twice!”

What advice would you give to other brides and bridesmaids?

“At the end of the day, you will be marrying the love of your life so if everything does not go as planned it’s ok. When the day comes try not to stress about any of the little details and just take in the moment because it really does go by so fast.”

How would you describe your experience using Vow To Be Chic?

“EASY! I fell in-love with the Theia dresses when my bridesmaids were trying on dresses but I couldn’t bring myself to ask them to buy them so finding Vow To Be Chic was such a blessing! My bridesmaids had a great experience also. It was so hassle free and I’m glad that bridesmaid dresses were something I did not have to worry about because the process made it so stress free.”

Thank you Alexis for choosing us to be a part of this wonderfully unique wedding!

  • A Beachy, Romantic Wedding in La Jolla, CA

Megan and Daniel said their “I do’s” while overlooking the ocean, off a cliff in La Jolla, California. Their perfect-weather September wedding allowed their guests to embrace laid-back beachy vibes with touches of romance. The bridesmaids wore a variation of blush and lavender floral gowns to match the whimsical setting.

What dresses and colors did your bridesmaids wear? What helped you come to a decision on your choice of dresses?

Four of the bridesmaids wore variations of blush dresses (the Elissa, Amelia, and Madeline) and two wore floral lavender gowns (the Nyla). I was obsessed with the Jenny Yoo floral gown and built my vision around that dress. I thought the floral mixed really well with the solid prints and really stood out. It is such a
    romantic dress!

Tell us a little about your day (including the most memorable moment)!

Our most memorable moment was our grand entrance into the wedding reception. We could strongly feel all of the love and support in the room from our friends and family who travelled far to celebrate with us. It was a really special moment we won’t forget!

What advice would you give to other brides and bridesmaids?

My advice would be to try your best to be present and take in every moment. This is probably the only time you will have all of your favorite people in the same room, so enjoy it!

How would you describe your experience using Vow To Be Chic?

I was surprised by how seamless the process was using Vow To Be Chic. I was worried the dresses would not come in time or would not fit. I was shocked that we only had to order a follow-up size for just one of my bridesmaids. Vow To Be Chic overnighted that dress and it
fit! All of my bridesmaids really appreciated renting their dresses because they saved a ton of money and still got to wear beautiful dresses!

Congratulations Megan and Daniel! We were honored you chose us to be a part of your wedding!

  • A Stylish, Modern Update to the Classic Wedding

Soon and Nick’s vision was a romantic late autumn wedding with a marsala color palette, complete with fairy lights, elements of wood, and candlelight. The stunning couple wanted the wedding to be a fun celebration true to the two of them. The reception had a bright and warm atmosphere, with bridesmaids glowing in rose gold and guests dancing the night away.

Rocking Gemma and Kaylee by Theia in rose gold, Soon’s bridesmaids were stunning.

What dresses and colors did your bridesmaids wear? What helped you come to a decision on your choice of dresses?

“I had seen several brides who had the gold sequin Theia gowns in their bridal party and I thought it was stunning. One of the first decisions I made regarding the wedding was the bridesmaid gowns. At the last minute, I decided to change the color from gold to rose gold because I thought it would better suit the burgundy in the color palette, and I’m so glad I did!”

Tell us a little about your day (including the most memorable moment)!

“My day started at 6:30 am. Got up, showered, and immediately headed to the venue to begin getting ready. Once Chick-fil-A breakfast arrived (because lets face it, that’s really the most important part) all the girls began curling their hair and one of my maids of honor and I did all maids hairstyles ourselves. The makeup artists arrived around 10 am and began doing makeup on each maid. I began doing my own makeup at that time because I really felt that no one could do my makeup as well as I can do my own. My photographers arrived at 2 pm and it was time to do our first look. I was SO nervous.”

“Our first look was set to the backdrop of a vined wall outside and afterwards, we completed photos of just the two of us. Once the family began to arrive, we went ahead and knocked out family photos, then the bridal party was tucked away to begin the ceremony.”

The ceremony was full of laughs and tears. After they pronounced us husband and wife, we kissed and “DMX – party up” immediately began playing as we danced down the aisle. Guests were immediately ushered outside and we did our sparkler exit immediately after the ceremony. This was to ensure that there would be a lot of people in our sparkler pic AND that no one could drunkenly have any sparkler accidents.

“The cocktail hour began with all of our guests already outside. We had two fire dancers perform during the duration of our cocktail hour, along with a cigar bar and open bar to entertain.”

“After theintro of the wedding party, Nick and I were introduced and immediately went into our choreographed Viennese waltz first dance to “Lenny Williams – Cause I Love You”, complete with a lift and dip at the end. I changed back into my custom wedding gown and we proceeded to cut the cake to the song “Cut it – OT Genesis.” From that point on, the rest of the night transformed to a huge celebration. The photo booth (@snapsocialphotobooth) was the most popular attraction of the night. With everyone dancing, chatting, or eating, there was never a dull moment and you could tell the entire room was filled with love.”

What advice would you give to other brides and bridesmaids?

“My advice would be to trust your vision. While it’s important to have a planner or coordinator assisting you, it’s important to make sure that the vibe that you and your husband both dreamed of comes to fruition. My husband and I had a majority of the creative decision making power and had an amazing planner (@amandareedweddings) there every step of the way to give her input, but she ultimately left it up to us and executed the evening perfectly.”

How would you describe your experience using Vow To Be Chic?

“My experience with Vow To Be Chic was seamless and I wish I could reuse them a thousand times over! They kept me posted on when there were sizing issues and also were the ones who originally told me when the rose gold Theia gowns became available. The gowns arrived in mint condition and the process to ship them back couldn’t have been any easier. I think my bridesmaids will keep Vow To Be Chic in mind when it comes time for their weddings too. No one wants to spend a fortune and have to hang on to a dress they don’t love. This was the perfect way to get the look I wanted without breaking anyone’s bank.”

Congratulations Soon and Nick! What a beautiful and fun wedding!
